On the weekend of 14th & 15th June the Boys played in Tennis NSW Medibank North East Champions of Champions event at Grafton.

The boys had qualified for the event through a series of Tennis NSW Medibank Junior Development Tournaments on the Lower North Coast. Blake finished first on points in the Lower North Coast 10 Boys event with Jason winning three out of three tournaments in the 14 Boys event. The North East Champion of Champions event is where the Top 8 Lower North Coast players met the Top 8 Upper North Coast players to fight it out for the North Coast Champion and to qualify for the next level.

Players traveled from as far as Bulahdelah in the south and Tweed Heads in the North to compete. Both Boys had exceptional finals winning them in tie-breaker sets. Other local players also qualifying for the next level were Blake Clarke in the 10 boys event finishing third and Ashlee Howe in the 21 Girls. All four will head to Inverell in August which will see the top North Coast players met the top North West players to fight it out for positions at the State Titles.
